AI Use Policy

Responsibilities when using AI-assisted text, art, or narration.

Last updated: July 20, 2026

1. Optional tools, human responsibility

Ink Studio may offer optional AI-assisted ideation, editing, cover, narration, and related tools. AI output can be inaccurate, incomplete, offensive, or similar to existing material. Authors—not Ndotonic—choose whether to use output and are responsible for reviewing, editing, and approving anything they publish.

2. Commercial rights and disclosure

Before using AI-assisted text, art, audio, or translations commercially, authors must confirm they have the rights required by the applicable tool provider and by law. Authors must not present AI-generated material as independently verified fact, impersonate a real person, use protected names or likenesses without permission, or make misleading claims about how work was created.

3. Third-party processing

Some features send prompts or content to third-party AI providers. Use those features only if you are permitted to share the material. Do not submit confidential client work, unpublished third-party manuscripts, sensitive personal data, or material you do not have authority to process.

4. Enforcement

We may restrict AI features or remove AI-assisted content when there is a credible rights, safety, deception, or policy concern. Authors must cooperate with reasonable requests related to a complaint or takedown.

These policies are a plain-language summary of how the service operates. They do not replace non-waivable rights under applicable law. Authors are additionally bound by the accepted Author Publishing Agreement and title-level listing terms.
